We decided we would give a school district the opportunity to get acquainted with a working 3D-Printer.
We held a drawing at our 2016 MSBS conference booth and from the 40 or so participants entered in the drawing, Rockford School District was our winner! The offer was to put the printer in the classroom setting of the winner’s choice.
For forty years Haldeman-Homme, Inc. has participated in the annual MN School Board Association conference! To share our prolific solutions with educators across Minnesota and within reach of our 21 offices throughout the nation, we’ll do what it takes. Our team is dedicated to STEM education, we want to make it accessible to all of the students we have the opportunity to help benefit, here’s how we proved it!
The Director of Teaching and Learning for Rockford, Peter Grimm, accepted the MOJO at Rockford’s Middle School. Our Technical Products team installed the printer, left materials to cover a quarter of the school year, and offered a hands-on tutorial to the teacher, Mr. Jamie Madson, who is tasked with the 3D-printer’s care. We’re hoping that the district will discover the value to education that 3D-Printing has to offer and that they will be moved to tell us how our printer changed their education offerings.
“Thank you!” to all of our entrants, keep an open eye out for a chance to win an exclusive offer for your community!
